Doors, Skirting and Architraves

All doors, skirting and architraves installed today. Locked out so no inside photos. I asked for a Merbau stained front door and they've put in a Merbau veneer door with a Maple frame. Hopefully the painter makes it look good and it's not left how it is now.

Porch and Wet Area Tiling

Had a look on the way home and there were a few guys there still working on the tiling. Porch, splashback, bathroom, ensuite and laundry tiling were done. They were still working in the showers so didn't get any photos of that, plus it's so dark so early so any photos I do have came out crap.

Kitchen Benchtops Installed

Showed up just as the guys had finished installed the kitchen benchtops. Caesarstone Night Sky with waterfall edges. They let me have a look around so I got a closer look at our vanities. Shelving in the WIP has been installed too.

Garage Door Installed

Timbagrain Caoba garage door has been installed. Back when I was trying to pick a colour I was trying to find out what Caoba actually looked like and pretty much every picture I saw looked different. Took a punt and picked it anyway and I'm so happy with how it looks. It does look different depending on how you view it as you can see from the photos.

Kitchen and Vanities Installed

Plaster Finished, Cornice Installed, Locked Out

Slow but steady progress over the last two weeks getting all the plaster done. Cornice was started yesterday and finished today. Got a phone call today to say that the 3rd invoice is now due for payment which has been sent off to the bank. On checking out the house today found that we have been locked out. Front door and garage door are not installed yet but the laundry door and internal garage door is on. All of the internal doors and skirting are sitting inside ready to be installed. Electricity meter has also been put in.
