Plaster Started

First layer of tape and plaster on today. Great to see the rooms taking shape and getting a real idea of space now.

Insulation and Gyprock Installed

Maybe I shouldn't be too quick to whinge as I was very much shocked and amazed to see that the insulation as well as all the Gyprock was installed today. Looks like I also ended up with Superchek instead of Soundchek in the Media Room which appears to be superior. No photos yet as they were still working when I got there around 5:15pm.

Rainwater Tank and Downpipes

Nothing at all Monday to Wednesday this week. So bloody disappointed. I feel like we should be so much further along for what has now been a 10 week build. Today we've got the hideously expensive and ugly rainwater tank that was the cause of so much angst at the start. Downpipes have also been installed. Insulation has been delivered.

Eaves Installed

Eaves were all installed. No deliveries of anything today unfortunately.

Bricks Cleaned

Bricks were cleaned today and I think they came out looking great.

Air Conditioning Installed

Aircon ducting and indoor unit installed. Eaves and scotia were delivered today.

Electrical Rough-in

Electrical rough in was completed today. Had a chat to the gyprockers working next door and they said they'll probably be on mine late next week.

Bricks Finished

Really keen to see how they look once cleaned. Hopefully they can start ripping into everything inside now.

Bricks Day 10

So close. Few more window sills and we're done.

Bricks Day 9

Almost there. All the main house brick has been completed. Just the columns on the porch, column on the alfresco and all the window sills to go.

Bricks Day 7

Very impressed by the progress of the brickies. I'd say probably one more day to finish off the bricks and another day to do the fiddly bits like the window sills.
